The Jetsons were clearly resting up this week for the big games next week. Why run or swing too hard when our playoff spot has been solidified? For that matter, why reach out for the ball when it's just over my head when I could risk my shoulder's performance in the playoffs? That's what I was thinking for all of my misses at least....

We got off to a cold start with our deep bomber going down with a record (I'm assuming) two K's in one game. We made a rally in the 4th but it was just too late.

The BOG (blooper of game) award goes to Jamal for yelling at Quincy to come in close for the next batter b/c he hit a pop up just over my head last at-bat. Little did he know that quincy was playing dumb and preparing to charge to that same spot as soon as the pitch went off. So the cover was blown and the batter knew it. But what? He hit it to the exact same spot anyway.

The MVJ goes to Darby. Several layouts and plenty of good old-fashioned hustle. He was also the only one regularly running to/from the outfield between innings. Obviously he wasn't in the same state of mental playoff preparation as the rest of us....
